Games Like 7 Days To Die

7 Days To Die is undoubtedly one of the best survival games to come out in recent times; its innovative outlook in its core mechanics has done wonders for the game’s popularity. Started as a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, 7 Days To Die has been made available on various consoles.

The crafting and survival aspects of the game combined gave the players a sense of bewilderment(which is a good thing); they were able to manipulate the map the way they wanted. With a randomly generated world, the game feels even more real. Simply put, 7 days to die is a great experience, and as gamers, we want more of such experiences!

10. Don’t Starve

Just like 7 days to die, the game doesn’t shy away from appearing grim and dark right from the get-go. The art style is enough to give you the creeps, and the various critters and creatures that show up are nothing less than horrific! Don’t starve is a worthy candidate to start our list.

The game’s main goal is to survive as long as possible in a randomly generated world that shows no mercy towards you. The game is available on all the major consoles and mobile as well! The controls are pretty neat and easy to grasp.

9. Farsky

Farsky is short and sweet; it doesn’t have a long story arc set up for your character. Instead, you forge your own path in the vastness of the ocean. Your submarine has broken down, and now you have to live in the ocean and adapt to your surrounding to survive.

The game’s goal is for you to survive as long as possible and find all the missing parts of your submarine. The game is unique because it is the only one on the list which takes you to the ocean.

8. Subterrain

If you asked me to describe Subterrain in one word, the adjective I’d use is HORRIFIC. The game doesn’t shy away from being a game whose atmosphere drips with dread. Nothing in the game is in your favor; infact everything is trying to kill you.

The zombies, dehydration, hunger, and illness are all looming over you, waiting for you to make a wrong move. So if that description enticed you, then you should definitely try Subterrain! At its core, the game is a top-down, survival game with a lot of resource management mechanics.

5. Neo Scavenger

Neo Scavenger finds itself so high on the list for multiple reasons. Many have had mixed opinions about this game, but I’m here to say that Neo Scavenger is the best turn-based survival RPG out right now. Yes, the game is turn-based, and it is one of its strong points.

There is a lot to unpack over here, there are local cryptids and folklore that get you interested in the story initially. once you start playing you will have a hard time putting the game down, it gets really addictive once you get a hold of it. But play safe, because the game has permadeath, which means, if you die, you’re save file is gone!

4. Rust

Ruts are a battle royale-like game but on steroids. The game is merciless in its approach toward survivability. Only the fittest survive and the rest either get killed or get eaten by the various animals that roam the vast procedurally generate maps of the game.

1. State Of Decay 2

Unlike other games on the list where you’re the lone warrior in a world getting decomposed by zombies, the state of decay likes to do things a bit differently. First of all, the whole lone warrior theme doesn’t seem realistic to begin with, so in a state of decay 2, you’re tasked with maintaining a good enough group.

But wait, that’s not it, make sure you’re group is up for any job that befalls you or you will be responsible for their deaths. The game is perfect for those who like strategy games.

In conclusion, 7 Days To Die is one of the best survival games out there, and if you're looking for more games like it, this list will definitely help you out.
