7 Days to Die or 7D2D is one of the most popular survival games out there, and rightfully so, it seamlessly blends genres like horror, tower defense, and role-playing in one single game, which sounds ridiculous at first, but, when you start playing it, you just can’t stop. The game becomes even more fun when you play with your friends!
The game has a lot of features that make playing it worthwhile. One such feature is the command console; you’d be familiar with this if you have your own dedicated server or are an administrator for a server hosted by someone else.
7D2D Admin Commands
This command console isn’t meant for normal players like you and me; it was created to test certain features in the game. Basically, it’s a dev tool, but it can be beneficial to you; let’s take a look at some commands that you'll likely need in the future!

Using the 7 Days 2 Die command console will lead to you basically cheesing the game, so take this as a warning; if you make the game easier, you won't enjoy it, so use the command only when needed if you want to play the game it was intended by the developers.
The Command Console can do a lot of things in-game. It’s like a toolkit for the game. If you’re familiar with the commands in Minecraft, you’ll have difficulty understanding the commands for 7D2D!
Apart from being able to alter the game literally, the command console can also be very helpful to you if you are a server admin. As the command console allows the admin to control the players on the multiplayer server basically.
The admin can access the various command available to him to kick out players that are disruptive to the game or even ban them for life from the server so that they never show up on it again. This gives the admin real powers, which he then can use to maintain the sanctity of the server so that every player has a good time.

How To Use Admin Commands In 7 Days To Die?
Before you start typing in the command, you need to pull up the command console. To do that o a PC, there are two different keys that5 you can press. For US and EU keyboards, it’s F1. Alternately for US keyboards, you can also use the key, “ and for EU keyboards, that alternative key is @.
Some commands are case-sensitive, so make sure to type the command as shown. Some commands also have shortcuts as well.
Some Important Commands
- help - will show you all the commands you can use
- CM - grants access to the creative menu
- DM - allows debugging
- Weather - allows weather control
- dm - enable debug mode, then press the G key to enable GOd mode; you won’t take any damage
