Map Layout

The map is the first thing you'll notice when you boot up Unturned. It's huge. Over three kilometers wide and three kilometers long, the island is packed with locations to explore, secrets to find, and enemies to fight. Knowing where to begin with such a big map can be challenging. We created this map layout guidance for that reason.

Arlington, a city, is located northwest of the map. This is where you'll find most shops, businesses, and a few quest-giving NPCs. East of Arlington is a military base crawling with zombies and has some decent loot if you can make it through alive.

South of Arlington is an airport with a few planes to fast-travel around the map. There's also a tiny town called Whitehorse near the airport, which is worth checking out if you require supplies. West of Arlington is a forest area that is excellent for collecting resources but can be dangerous due to the many zombies that spawn there.
